EXCELLENT! Please keep up the work, Linux needs a Final Cut/Premiere type editor so badly, instead of the 50x iMovie clones.
I just found this project through a comment on some site from '08.
It's a really great project and I'm glad it went from officially dead to "long-term garage project"... Though I wish it was still being actively worked on by a team, I understand that you have a life and plenty of other things to do. I look forward to seeing any updates, regardless of how far apart they are.
I wish I could help develop but I know absolutely nothing about programming at this point.
